  • Improved XYZ header parsing for better pointcloud dataset compatibility

  • Enhanced processing performance for large vector layers

  • Dashboard visibility of storage used by Shares

New Features

Extended File Format Support

The Ocean Data Platform (ODP) now supports additional file formats, expanding compatibility across survey and operational workflows.

The following formats have been added or enhanced:

  • WAV – Support for audio files

  • XYZ – Improved header parsing

These updates allow users to integrate and process a wider range of hydrographic and survey datasets directly within the platform, reducing the need for external data conversion.

Platform Rules Confirmation

Access to the Ocean Data Platform is governed by mandatory platform rules.

Users are now asked to confirm their agreement with these rules once when logging into the platform. Confirmation will only be requested again if the platform rules are updated.

The most recent version of the platform rules is always available at:

Improvements

Dashboard Storage Overview

The dashboard now includes storage usage for Shares, providing better transparency into overall storage consumption across the platform.

Improved Processing of Large Vector Layers

Processing of large shape files containing many geometries has been optimized. This improvement enhances performance and reliability when working with complex vector datasets.
