New Features

Extended File Format Support

TrueOcean now supports additional file types, further expanding compatibility across survey and operational workflows:

  • SEABEAM - Point Cloud

This enhancement enables users to integrate and process a broader range of hydrographic and survey datasets directly within the platform, reducing the need for external data conversion.

Optimized Color Map for Side Scan Sonar

A new, optimized color map (black-to-copper gradient) is now available for Side Scan Sonar rasters.

This industry-standard styling improves contrast and enhances the visibility of acoustic features, supporting clearer interpretation and more efficient data analysis.

Enhancements and Changes

Maps: Improved Layer Loading Transparency

Adding new layers to a map can take time depending on file type, size, and complexity. To provide clearer feedback during this process, we have introduced enhanced loading visibility:

  • Newly added layers now appear immediately in the layer tree

  • Layers remain greyed out while being processed

  • A hover indicator shows that processing is still in progress

This update improves transparency and provides better orientation during data loading.

File Manager Performance Improvements

Background optimizations have been implemented to further improve overall file manager performance, resulting in smoother handling of datasets and improved responsiveness.
