New Features

Extended File Format Support

Support for additional file formats has been introduced to improve compatibility with a wider range of data sources and workflows.

  • RLXP RLXP files can now be ingested and processed within the platform, enabling the use of additional vector-based survey data formats within existing workflows.

  • PPTX (Preview) Microsoft PowerPoint files can now be previewed directly within the platform, supporting improved handling of accompanying documentation.

  • GLTF / GLB (3D Models) Support for GLTF bundle formats (including GLB) enables visualization of 3D models, such as photogrammetry outputs, directly in the browser. This facilitates the use of lightweight, self-contained 3D datasets for review and sharing.

These additions allow users to integrate more data types into their workflows without requiring external tools.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Single Sign-On (SSO) can now be enabled on customer environments upon request.

This allows organizations to integrate TrueOcean with their existing identity management systems, improving access control and simplifying user authentication.

For activation, please contact the support team or your Customer Success Manager.

Project Search in Overview

A search function has been added to the project overview.

Users can now quickly locate projects by name, improving navigation and efficiency, especially in environments with a large number of projects.

Improvements

User Interface and Usability

  • Validation feedback for passwords (at platform registration or password change) is now provided in real time during input, improving usability and reducing errors during user setup.

  • Users are now notified when creating share via URL that exceed defined limits (4 GB and/or 1000 files), improving transparency and helping to choose appropriate transfer methods (e.g. SFTP/RSYNC for large datasets).

  • Shared items are now displayed as a separate category on the dashboard, improving visibility and access.

File Management Improvements

  • Deletion workflows have been improved to provide clearer and more consistent system feedback:

    • Files and folders now display a dedicated deletion status while removal is in progress.

    • The deletion status is consistently reflected across views, including file lists, folder contents, and inspector panels.

    • System notifications (success and error messages) are now triggered at appropriate stages of the deletion process, improving transparency and user guidance.

    • In cases where items currently being inspected are deleted, the interface automatically redirects to the next available level.

These changes align deletion behavior with other system processes (e.g. indexing) and improve overall consistency.

Extended File Handling

  • For .til files with limited spatial metadata, reference points are now displayed on the map. This allows users to spatially position such datasets and include them in geo-based workflows even when full footprint information is not available.

Performance Improvements

  • Indexing performance has been improved across file types.

  • Performance of user-triggered preview generation has been optimized.

  • Table computation and internal layer processing have been enhanced, resulting in faster data handling and improved responsiveness.
